Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle requires:
- To hire a vehicle in East London, you must be a minimum of 21 years old. Note that age restrictions may differ depending on the vehicle type, and drivers under 25 may incur extra charges. A valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category is required, held for the time outlined in the Rental Agreement. Additionally, valid identification and proof of your current address must be presented. Booking and Payment Process
- You can make reservations via our website, by phone, or in person at our East London office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT as applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.
4. Vehicle Pick-Up and Drop-Off
- At the time of collection in East London, you are required to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and must be signed by both parties. Upon return, the vehicle should be in the same condition as it was when collected, accounting for normal wear and tear. Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For specific details, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Your Vehicle
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. Engaging in racing, off-roading, or other dangerous driving practices is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. Sub-letting to others or permitting unauthorized individuals to drive is unacceptable. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. The vehicle must only be used for its intended purposes and within established passenger and weight limits. Driving outside of designated geographical areas without prior consent is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to immediate rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in East London is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, nor for losses related to profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount you paid in the past year. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
